Enterprise Class Hosting
KFL Hosting
provides premium hosting services for business that demand high-quality,
reliable hosting and service. Our focus is to accommodate our clients
with both the services and the tools they need to communicate with their
clients through their websites and its applications. Providing support
for Linux, FreeBSD, MS Exchange, Windows and Coldfusion hosting
environments from a centralized location. Utilizing advanced clustering
capabilities, we are able to provide a scalable, stable, high
performance environment for our customers.
Web Development
carbonlessUSA.com originally developed by
NetVision Technologies, Inc. (www.nvt.net), was written in ColdFusion. Any
changes that CarbonlessUSA wanted to make to their website was under complete
control of NetVision, who charged for updates and modifications. NetVision
controlled the ColdFusion, databases and all aspects of the website application,
in short CarbonlessUSA was held hostage to old technology and techniques.
KFL Design designed an integrated application that would allow CarbonlessUSA.com
to both own and control the content and the application fully. Completely
re-designing the website using modern Open-Source PHP, a much more user
friendly language, and creating a new SQL database, enables the end user
to make changes on their own. The complete re-write also incorporated modifications
and changes that were requested in the application.
Hosting the CarbonlessUSA and the other sites owned by Total Printing Solutions,
Inc by KFL Hosting was the finishing touch to this cost effective approach.
"It is estimated the company will save over 80% in web-related costs over
the next year." reported a delighted company vice-president. . "We have
complete control. We no longer are forced to pay thousands of dollars for
updates and modifications." years.
Personalization
KFL Technologies
creates an in-house Personal URL application
to support the needs of a commercial printer offering personalized direct
mail pieces with pURL's. Created to serve a pacific need, it lacked in functionally
but severs the client well.
During consultation with one of our clients, a leader in the delivery
of state-of-the-art services, tools and technologies that can enable
corporations of all sizes to enhance the control and management of their
external business communications, campaigns, and related materials, it becomes
clear of the need for a user-friendly, feature-rich, self-hosted, and affordable
pURL application to support the marketing industry.
KFL Technologies developed 1:1 pURL Server, a solution that captures valuable
activity of the visitor to the URL and provides additional follow-up and
lead generation - all in real time. Comprehensive reports display campaign
response rates, visitor patterns, and detailed lead information are the
host of benefits that comes with using this system. The Personalized Web
Addresses (pURL) is truly clean and remains clean, no ugly code added to
the URL like "?id=John.Doe&mode=4" as with may other pURL applications.
E-commerce Solutions
Progressive Scripts looks to KFL Design for
assistance in creating an accompanying shopping cart for StaticStore, the
software to build static "search engine friendly" HTML pages for your online
store or catalog. Shortly after Progressive Scripts, the lead-developer
of StaticStore, acquires the branding-rights to KFL Design's house brand
e-commerce shopping cart solution.
KFL Design sits down with its developers to coordinate plans to re-write
its house brand shopping cart from an in-house E-commerce solution to a
end-user-friendly shopping cart system to be known as StaticCart. Along
with Web-based configuration, the client requires numerous features including
the ability for multiple tax rates for non US merchants.
Bundled along with StaticStore is StaticCart, the most "search engine friendly"
and "user friendly" shopping cart available on the market today.
Data Management
Our client sought to generate a prospective customer list for 50,000+ individuals from a variety of sources. KFL Technologies compiled an initial list through data entry and other value-added services, removed all duplications, corrected and standardized addresses, updated for NCOA (National Change Of Address) and key coded the list for every single prospective customer based upon the requested criteria. A final list was sent to the printer in order to produce personalized postcards based on the key code. A second list was created for use with 1:1 pURL Server to created personalized landing pages or pURL's (personal URL's) in support of the above mentioned postcard.
